Purpose


Services

Derbyshire T3 is a specialist outreach service for young people who are using
drugs or alcohol, feel they have a problem and want some support to stop using
or cut down. We also offer specialist help to reduce the risks and harm
associated with alcohol or drug misuse, or to help young people avoid relapsing
if they have already made changes.

Opening Times Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (or as organised with the young person)
Eligibility Criteria The service is for young people under 18. We only accept referrals of young people when the young person is aware of the referral and wish to see a project worker; this should be explored with the young person prior to any referral. We are more than happy to discuss issues and concerns you may have about an individual you know or are working with, and their suitability for a referral to Derbyshire T3 Young Person’s Treatment Service prior to a referral taking place. We also accept referrals either directly from the young person, their family or friends. Again a referral would only be accepted where the young person is aware of and consents to the referral. The normal route of family and self referral is via phone contact at the office. The case would then be allocated and the project worker will be in touch.
Meeting Place Our address is for mail only, appointments are made at venues convenient to the young person anywhere in Derbyshire
