Purpose | The Root & Branch project has an allotment plot and community garden at Mastin Moor near Chesterfield. They accept people with a wide range of mental health issues, as well as people recovering from drug and alcohol problems and those with a dual diagnosis. Services | People get to experience the benefits of gentle exercise, fresh air, peer support, ideas for self management, a chance to socialise, plus free vegetables. They tend the allotment plot and help manage the adjacent community garden. People can do as much or as little as they like, or just come for a chat and fresh air. |
