Purpose

We believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves. At a local level our joint charity delivers the training programmes of the Scout Association: http://scouts.org.uk and Girl Guiding UK: http://www.girlguiding.org.uk Our focus is the communities in the Whitwell and Hodthorpe area, although we do have members from further a field.
