| Purpose | To provide effective support, friendship and practical assistance to families in South Derbyshire. |
| Services | Recruitment and training of local parent volunteers to support South Derbyshire families who are experiencing a stressful time for whatever reason. Volunteers provide confidential emotional and practical support on a one to one basis in the family home for as long as the family needs. Free social activities are provided for Home-Start families every half term. |
