| Purpose | Touchstone Community Development is a social enterprise whose mission is : ‘To develop people through services to the community’. This mission will be delivered through three strategic aims: 1/ Providing people with the vocational, basic and social skills necessary to get and keep jobs; 2/ Providing a range of services meeting community needs that are not already being provided; 3/ Ensuring that the organisation has the capability to deliver the first two strategic aims. |
| Services | We are currently focusing on one business, Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery, delivering childcare services for Staveley and the surrounding area, which has one of the highest indexes of deprivation in the Region. We have a particular focus on children from deprived and/or dysfunctional families who need extra attention to achieve their potential. |
