| Purpose | As part of DRP Derbyshire Alcohol Advice Service act as an initial point of contact for anyone in Derbyshire over the age of 18 who would like support in relation to drug or alcohol use. |
| Services | DAAS as part of Derbyshire Recovery Partnership are the single point to contact in Derbyshire for anyone who needs information and support about a substance misuse problem (drugs or alcohol). DAAS deliver: * Individual one to one counselling sessions with a trained alcohol worker in a venue near clients.*Advice support and when appropriate referral to DRP or external services.*Support with DRP such as hypnotherapy, acupuncture or group support.* Stand To project (Dedicated to Derbyshire's Ex-Forces community) * Training to health, social and community professionals covering substance misuse, reasons for use, brief interventions and harm reduction.
