| Purpose | Promote grow your own and bring people together, mainly (but not solely) men over 55 years old. As a social group to share gardening knowledge, skills and experience. Forming friendships and working with local schools to encourage an interest in the benefits of gardening as exercise and better and more nutritious food. The premises have become a social club, with people calling in just for a chat and to catch up and seek advice on gardening. |
