Purpose

As part of Derbyshire County Council Adult Care Fabrick Day Services  provides Day Care Services for older people who live in North East Derbyshire.



The groups are primarily designed to support people who have complex care needs either physical or cognitive or have a carer who needs periods of respite.
Services

The variety of day services include:-
Fabrick Day Services is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday providing care, activities including crafts, quizzes, mental stimulation, chair based exercise to older people living in the community who have care needs and wish to maintain their independence. 
We have a Carers Group who meet on Monday afternoons the 4th Monday of the month.

Eligibility Criteria To attend any social day care service a nominated care worker will complete an assessment of what care is needed, and if there is a carer who needs respite support to maintain their caring role.

Service Costs When this is funded by DCC Adult Care the placement has to be agreed inline with the eligibility criteria for Social Services. However places may be available to purchase privately by contacting the manager. Each person will be required to pay £1.50 each day.
