Purpose | We support anyone from 6 years upwards who is suffering as a result of bereavement. |
Services | We have over 40 volunteers who see and talk with individuals one to one, face to face, either in their own home or in a venue. We cover not only Derby but all of Southern Derbyshire. We also run a fortnightly bereavement group in the centre of Derby. In addition we provide bereavement training for organisations whose workers may come into contact with the bereaved e.g. medics, care workers, teachers. |

Opening Times | Our Derby office is personned 4 mornings a week, but if someone rings when no one is there, we will ring them back asap if they leave their contact details. |
Eligibility Criteria | Any adult whatever their gender, age, racial, religious or sexual orientation. They must refer themselves i.e. ring the Derby office and their details will be taken. We also see children 6 years and over (their parents refer them) |
Meeting Place | In clients home or in one of many different venues spread over Derby & Southern Derbyshire. |
Service Costs | Service is free, although being a charity, we ask for a donation at the final session. |
