Purpose

Put simply, we are a friendly group of people who enjoy walking around the Peak District and Chesterfield area. We are a relaxed and informal group who want to combine walking with other activities including social events and weekends away. Our goal is to offer a wide range of walks and events that best suits all of our members.

The term ‘young ramblers’ is used very generally. We provide walks at times that suit people of ‘working age ‘e.g. weekends, and summer evenings. We have a few members in their early 20’s or younger but all ages are more than welcome to join our walks.

Opening Times Walks take place on weekends and weekday evenings.
Eligibility Criteria Open to anyone aged 18+
Meeting Place Various meeting points depending where the walk takes place. On Sundays there is usually a car share from Chesterfield Town Hall.
Service Costs Free to attend. Though those who attend regularly will be encouraged to join the Ramblers Association.
