Purpose Disability Nottinghamshire is a registered charity promoting the independence and choice of all persons with disabilities and impairments within the Nottinghamshire County Council area (excluding Nottingham City). We provide free, confidential and impartial information, advice and advocacy in respect of any aspect of disability to people with disabilities and impairments, their carers, friends and families as well as professionals and students.
Services The service is offered by people who have personal experience of disability either by being disabled themselves or by having direct experience of caring. From a quick query about how to get a Blue Badge or Radar Key to a two hour session filling in a Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance form - we have an experienced team on hand to help which is FREE to all residents of Nottinghamshire.
