Purpose | The ultimate heavy metal - Ring the world's heaviest and loudest (unamplified) musical instruments (using rhythm, not music). Each bell weighs between 8 stone and 4 tons: swing it upside down to split-second accuracy, controlling it with just a rope! |

Eligibility Criteria | Trainee bell ringers should be aged 9 or over. You need to be able to: count, raise arms above head, climb 15 steps, concentrate and act responsibly (e.g. anyone who can/would be able to drive a car). It is the perfect activity for families, couples or individuals, young people, teens and adults. Ringing is one big supportive community - If you go on holiday or travel for your work, you are often welcomed by the local ringers at their practice session. |
