Description Care and Education Group (C&EG) is a social enterprise arm of the overall organisation designed to work with agencies and partners to benefit our communities. In April 2019, C&EG partnered with Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioners to deliver a holistic mentoring project called ‘WIN-WIN Mentoring’ that addresses the risk and needs of young people and adults from the ages of 8 years and upwards focusing on prevention and diversionary resilience, away from anti-social behaviour and crime. The WIN-WIN Mentoring Project is: One-to-one / Group activities Solution focused / Outcome based Seminar facilitators, recreational team building activities. Media, Business & Young Persons Entrepreneurship, Education and Academic Development, Cybercrime / Bullying, Community & Citizenship. The WIN-WIN Mentoring Project focuses on the delivery of 7 Key Priorities: Working to keep the most vulnerable in our communities safe from crime and harm and supporting those who unfortunately find themselves a victim of crime. Working to tackle the emerging threats of cyber and cyber enabled crime on individuals, businesses and communities. Working to tackle the impact of drugs and alcohol on communities. Supporting those with mental health issues, including those with learning difficulties, who come into contact with the Criminal Justice System, as victim or offender, to get the right support, from the right agencies at the right time. Working with young people, as victims or offenders, to understand their needs and prevent them becoming involved in criminal activities. Working with the Constabulary to develop the policing family to be more representative of the diverse communities it serves. Working with the Constabulary and partners to maximise on the opportunities from developments in technology.
