| Purpose | For the public benefit, the education of people in the city of Derby; in the use and accessibility of computers, the internet and other Information's technology equipment within our local communities. We are “Derby Micro Computers & Computer Coding Club,” we run sessions for both Derby's young people aged 8 - 15 years wanting to learn computer coding skills and for our ageing older population we provide basic computer skills and how to access the internet both are in a safe, relaxed and welcoming environment. We offer a place where children and the elderly will grow in confidence, make new friends and learn about Computers & how to use them. Our aim is for everyone to have great fun, but also to develop children's and elderly's self-confidence and skills in use of computer equipment. |
