Purpose The Asian Association of Chesterfield & North Derbyshire is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number: 1183943), founded in 1982, with the aim of promoting the culture, education, health and welfare of Asian people residing in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. Since 2009, the Asian Centre remains a focal point for the community members which facilitates numerous cultural activities and organises educational and recreational activities with improved links to the wider community. The Association is fully inclusive and welcoming irrespective of cultural background, religion or ethnicity. We welcome members to join us from any background or ethnicity
