Community Arts Centre

The aim of the group shall be to provide opportunities across the community for involvement in creative arts.
Services Long Eaton Art Room is a voluntary organisation that believes anyone can benefit from the therapeutic qualities of art & craft making.
we have excellent facilities that can be used on a drop in basis for 5 pounds per session, we also have a small craft shop, tuck shop, Dark room, room hire facilities, we do private craft parties too. Our equipment includes;
Rubber stamps, Card Making tools, crochet needles, knitting needles, candle making, felting, Kilns, bench drill, scroll saw, vacuum former, enamelling kiln, printing press, weaving looms, spinning wheel, sewing machines, knitting machine, potters wheel, letter press, wide variety of hand tools for all sorts of crafts. We also have a dark room fully functioning for Black and White printing.

Eligibility Criteria Anyone can use our facilities. We are fully DDA compliant and welcome everyone regardless of background, experience or ability. Our open studio sessions work on a drop-in basis and there is no need to book in advance. The Art Room gives a similar experience to going to college or an evening class without the commitment and homework. You get to make whatever you like and can work at your own pace making it a more relaxed informal atmosphere. We are open to anyone regardless of age, ability or qualifications etc.

Service Costs We charge £5 for a 3 hour open studio session or you can become a member for £25 per month which entitles you to attend as many open studio sesions as you like.
