Services | We are an officially recognised Alzheimers Society Dementia Friendly Community. Our aim is to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with dementia and their carers amongst the groups, businesses and organisations in our area thereby making it a more supportive and welcoming place for this group. We actively fundraise and run the monthly Forget Me Not cafe in Oakwood, a social group for those living with dementia and their carers. We aim to involve our whole neighbourhood in some way and actively welcome the views of those affected so we can make our contributions more meaningful.
