Purpose | The aim of the nationwide network of U3A branches is to allow people who have retired to keep active, both mentally and physically and to share common interests of many kinds. |
Services | Matlock Area U3A brings together people who are retired or semi-retired to socialise, learn together and share common interests. It offers over 60 different interest groups and has about 700 members. For more details please see the website. |

Opening Times | Meeting days and times are different for each subject group but are generally on weekdays and usually daytime. There is also a monthly coffee morning to which everyone is welcome. |

Service Costs | A membership fee of just £10 per year in total entitles a person to join any of our 60 subject groups. However each group is self-funding so there may be a meeting charge (generally of the order of £2 per session) to cover room hire. |
