Purpose

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is is a nationally and internationally recognized programme for young people. With a DofE award on your curriculum, educational establishments such as colleges and universities, as well as employers, can see that you stand out from the crowd. It doesn't matter what level of the DofE you achieve, Bronze, Silver or Gold, it signals commitment to a project.

Opening Times The centre's usually hold weekly / fortnightly meetings during term time. Details can be obtained by contacting the centre.
Eligibility Criteria Any young person between the ages of 14 to 25 years old can complete their DofE Award regardless of ability, gender or background. It is available for any such young person who wishes to do their DofE and are unable to do so in their own school or youth group because there is no local group or those groups are over subscribed.

Service Costs There is a welcome pack / registration payment of £35 for Bronze & Silver levels and £45 for Gold (Sept. 2020). Additional charges are payable for the expedition section to cover costs and there may be some payments for the other sections dependent on the activity undertaken.
