Description The object for the Exercise for the Heart is established are to raise awarness, educate and promote healthy lifestyles and prevent coronary heart disease. To provide exercise opportunities that reduce coronary heart disease. To provide exercise opportunities that reduce coronary heart disease and support individuals who have suffered a cardiac episode. To provide support and instructor lead exercise sessions to people with heart problems via GP referral or from acute hospital phase III cardiac rehabilitation classes. with fully qualified cardiac instructors. we are affiliated to the BHF and support their work but we do not receive funding from them our group is self funded.

Services We provide social group activities like walks, beetle drives, dances, christmas dinner and exercise classes with an extensive range of gym equipment supervised by qualified cardiac instructors.

Opening Times Mondays, Thursdays and Friday at Ilkeston Tuesday and Wednesday at Draycott.
Eligibility Criteria the service is for anyone with a cardiac condition and their parnters carers or a friend we accept self referral, Doctors referral and hospital referral.
Meeting Place Ilkeston United reformed church hall St. Andrews Drive, Ilkeston. Draycott community centre off Derby Rd, Draycott.
Service Costs £4.00 per person per session revised yearly
