Purpose | Derwent Living is a not-for-profit organisation providing affordable living to suit a range of lifestyles. Derwent Living provides rented and low cost home ownership housing for people in the East Midlands. Rented housing includes studios, flats, and houses for people on low incomes, retired people and those looking for residential care. They also assist students and people wanting to purchase on part rent part purchase basis. The Association is a not for profit organisation run by a voluntary board. Derwent Living has a community development team which collaborates with other agencies and third sector organisations in order to deliver ambitious projects in partnership with communities. Projects include environmental improvements and increasing life chances through training, employment and volunteering opportunities. |
