Description | Evening and daytime facilitated, peer support groups covering 3 areas in the High Peak. Adults can be referred or refer themselves, once they fit the criteria for the group they will be given a warm welcome into a safe and supported group. A group where they can express and experience their grief with others who will understand and share their own struggles and experience. Peer support and peer bonding through this most difficult of life changes , shows over and over how we need each other, for understanding, acceptance, wisdom, compassion, empathy ............ |

Purpose | Directly addressing the gap in bereavement support, we are providing local peer support groups for adults struggling with bereavement and grief. A safe, facilitated, confidential, regular space focussing on grief and all associated issues. Closed groups, referral only, but this includes self referral. |
