| Purpose | Clowne Town Cricket Club is a community organisation that plays a big part in in the lives of many people in the area, with between 150 – 200 participants regularly taking part and enjoying the sport. We run 10 sides including women and girls teams, children from the age of 5 upwards and adult teams. As well as keeping people physically active we aim to encourage a sense of belonging and the opportunity for many local people to volunteer, engage socially and be proud of their local club and facility. There are many volunteers that add value including the committee members, ground workers, bar and facility volunteers, cricket coaches, match officials and fundraisers. |
