| Purpose | Raise Your Voices welcomes all adult singers, from beginners to the more experienced. The sessions are filled with camaraderie and choir members learn to sing songs from a wide variety of genres, unaccompanied, in three or four parts. RYV also performs concerts to raise funds for local charities, and at local farmers markets, festivals and celebrations. Most years RYV hosts guest professionals who are invited to lead development workshops and concerts for the choir and visitors. |
| Services | Raise Your Voices is a community choir for adults, based in Wirksworth, which exists purely for the joy of singing together in harmony and the many health and well-being benefits that this can bring, all under the experienced leadership of musical director, Lester Simpson, with sessions on most Thursdays evenings throughout the year. |
