| Purpose | Our charity supports people living with ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and long COVID across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. We provide the following services for free to our members (membership costs £12 per year): - High quality Benefits & Social Care service for our members. Last year, we supported 79 clients through casework, helping them win over £442.5k in yearly income and £133k in arrears. - Accessible wellbeing group activities (mostly online for the moment) such as weekly qigong and mindfulness sessions, fortnightly singing and craft - In-person social meet-ups - Peer support via Facebook group and meet-ups - Skills development activities such as French conversation, writing workshops and much more - Quarterly magazine (printed as booklet and posted) with lots of information on support available, benefits, nutrition, wellbeing, arts photos and writings from our members and also lighter entertainments - Befriending scheme - Ways to be involved through volunteering and consultations (for wider projects involving local decision-makers) |
