Purpose | The Dronfield Market is a weekly outdoor market. There are fixed legal expenses, and these are covered by trader's rentals. The committee managing this marketplace are all volunteers. Various goods are displayed for sale on each week, but the number of stalls varies with the enthusiasm of the traders and with the weather. The Dronfield Market is free-trade and operates every Thursday, from 7 o/clock until 4 o/clock, and it is situated in the Dronfield Civic Centre. Many stalls are present and they have all sorts of things for sale such as fresh flowers, ladies clothing, home-made jams, and hot drinks, to name but a few. The market place is a friendly place where anyone can come to buy, or browse, or just to meet with others for a chat. Car parking is on-site, and can be accessed via Farwater Lane, or via the Civic Centre. |
