A Walking for Wellbeing Project.
Services Enjoying Derby is a walking programme with a difference as it combines exercise with learning about history, culture and art within a supportive environment. It was originally established in 2008 as part of a programme called Time to Change which exists to challenge health discrimination in England and to improve the wellbeing of the nation.

Opening Times Information about walks are available via the main office Monday to Friday 9-5pm. There is a varied programme of walks which range from 1 to 3 hours in duration.
Eligibility Criteria The walks are open to everyone. If people need support they are welcome to bring a friend, relative or carer with them. We ask everyone to complete a health questionaire on their first visit or if their health changes.
Meeting Place Walks take place every Tuesday and Thursday. Meet up under the big screen in Derby Market Place at 1pm for a 1.15pm start.
Service Costs The walks are free of charge however there may be admission costs if the walk takes in an event or activity which has an entrance fee. Sometimes walks may start with a bus ride so be prepared to pay for your bus ticket.
